Eve Campbell – Executive Director has spent her entire adult life working in the nonprofit sector. Her arts management experience includes working as Executive Director for The Women’s Chorus of Dallas, the Turtle Creek Chorale, and the Rocky Mountain Arts Association. She is a former board chair of GALA Choruses, Inc and has served on numerous other boards. Ms. Campbell founded a consulting business to assist nonprofits in 1998 and has worked with over 300 organizations. She is currently the GALA Choruses advisor to its members’ boards of directors.
Melissa T. Arasi – Artistic Director, Atlanta Women’s Chorus currently serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Music Education Coordinator at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia. Dr. Arasi was previously the Supervisor of Performing Arts for the Cobb County School District in Marietta, GA for sixteen years after having served as Choral Director and Fine Arts Department Chair at Walton High School in Cobb County for 14 years. Dr. Arasi was a visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Georgia Tech, where she founded and conducted the Women’s Choir. She received a BA in Music Education from Shorter College, an MA in Music Education, and a PhD in Teaching and Learning in Music Education from Georgia State University.
Donald Milton III – Interim Music Director, Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus joined the AGMC in January 2018, bringing an impressive background in conducting, music education and music administration. He is the 10-year director of music for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, the largest UU congregation in the Southeast. Active in the Atlanta music scene, he has served as the executive director of the Atlanta Master Chorale, artistic director of the DeKalb Choral Guild, founder and artistic director of Lux Atlanta, and founder of Sky Punch, a company that produces sing-alongs, concerts and other interactive community music events. Milton has extensive experience as an educator, including teaching general music at an alternative school for emotionally impaired youth. He is an active choral clinician, guest conductor, lecturer and performer. He studied at the University of Michigan School of Music, with concentrations in education, conducting and vocal pedagogy.
Sarah Rabun – AWC Pianist is the choral director at Griffin Middle School in Smyrna, Georgia. Sarah received her Bachelors of Music in Music Education in 2008 from Kennesaw State University with a concentration in piano. In the past ten years, Sarah has accompanied the Kennesaw State University Women’s Choir, the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra Chorus, as well as many high school and middle school choirs across Cobb County. Sarah accompanied the North Cobb High School Women’s Chorus at the GMEA and ACDA conferences in 2008.
