The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus is an auditioned, volunteer choral ensemble consisting of male singers age eighteen and older. With a wide range of varying musical training and backgrounds, the chorus is committed to fostering an environment of professionalism, respect, pride and unity. The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus is comprised of gay, transgender, and straight-allied men of all ethnicities. Current and past membership includes residents of Alabama and South Carolina, in addition to Metro Atlanta and nearby Georgia cities.
The AGMC will be hosting auditions on August 26, 27 and 29.

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30-10:00 pm in Midtown. Additional rehearsals are usually scheduled during the week preceding each concert. The AGMC gives three or more performances of three different concert cycles (December, March, and June) as part of its annual subscription series. The chorus is also invited to make additional appearances at special events from time to time.
The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus is committed to a standard of excellence in singing. While the AGMC seeks to maintain a body of singers with good vocal training, the ability to read music, and a background in choral singing, there is almost always room for those with less experience.
